- How do you handle stress and pressure? – provide an example of a past situation that potentially was stressful and describe how you handled it and what you learned from the experience.
- Describe a difficult work situation – outline a recent experience and how you overcame it. Again share a situation and how you managed the problem/s
- How do you evaluate success? – if you can provide some facts around measuring success- supervisor & customer feedback; profit or sales increase etc.
- Why are you leaving or have left your job? – NEVER bag or criticize your past employer/s instead discuss how this job is a great fit for you and your decision to leave last job was because you want utilise your skills in a new role.
- Why do you want this job? – Make sure you are across the job requirements and align your skills and abilities with the role
- Why should we hire you? – why not? think about your key assets. be honest about your capabilities and discuss how excited you are about the role
- What are your goals for the future? – try wording your response around ” my goals are to perform great work”
- Tell me about yourself. – don’t bang on and on here. Have something prepared that encompasses your personal and professional life – 1 minute TOPS!
