the Skills and attributes needed to be able to perform the duties necessary are :
- Experience managing building/construction projects of medium complexity.
- Experience managing and supervising contractors engaged to perform work.
- Understanding of bills of quantities, cost estimates and project budgets.
- Good knowledge and working ability of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). MS Project would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to interact positively with a range of people to agree on and achieve outcomes.
- Willingness to travel within the Shire to supervise project progress.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
- Construction Certificate an advantage.
