The new regional body has been established through the merging of seven existing well established services within this area.
The Board of Directors is seeking to employ a Chief Executive Officer with extensive senior management experience to initially lead the establishment and implementation of an appropriate organisational structure and culture, to deliver on the organisation’s vision and mission, and to assume overall responsibility for the management of operations at all branches comprising the new regional organisation.
As CEO you will provide leadership to the organisation and ensure its effective and efficient day-to-day management. You will be responsible for the organisation’s strategic, operational and financial management and risks, under the direction of the Board. This will include:
- engaging, leading and motivating a diverse team
- developing a positive organisational culture
- ensuring the organisation delivers on its contractual obligations and operates within budget
- ensuring the reporting requirements of funding bodies and compliance requirements of legislation are met
- marketing and promotion of the organisation
- generating and maintaining collaborative working alliances with key stakeholders.
Your knowledge of, and natural disposition towards, the development of effective systems and procedures will stand you in good stead.
Ideally, your successful Board working relationship/s track record will enable you to work constructively and positively with the Company Board to assist with the setting and implementation of strategic and policy direction, and pursue business development opportunities that are identified.
You will be outcome oriented, with a track record of success. You will be a proven leader and people manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of personal integrity, and successful experience in change and culture management and service delivery. Relevant tertiary qualifications are required, while the ability to generate additional income through commercial and non-commercial avenues and an understanding of the not-for-profit Community Services sector will be well regarded.
You will need to demonstrate your expertise in business management and corporate governance processes and have the drive and experience to lead the next phase of our development.
An attractive remuneration package, and the location of this position within the Mid North Coast NSW, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
