Our client has up to 50 fully equipped apartments in the heart of beautiful Port Macquarie, offering spectacular views and great facilities including heated pool ; Sauna; BBQ &  Roof deck. The site has a mix of live-in owners and holiday lets.

They seek a highly polished and professional person who is keen to commence at reception with a strong desire to progress their career to upper management.  Intense training and coaching will be provided, along with development of management skills.

This will involve a traineeship in Cert IV in Property Management along with Trust accounting knowledge and training as well as instruction on  managing the Website, bookings and discounts.

Initially, the rostered hours are 8.30 -1.30pm  and 1 – 6pm , and as your career progresses,  week-ends and night shifts will be an integral part of the role.

The opportunity to live on site and be promoted to Site Manager is a definite possibility, Our client is keen on a long-term engagement.

Position: The person will be working in a small family run business with the business owner’s having a hands on role in the management of the business. You will start as a casual front office receptionist, but with the demonstrated desire to move into a management position, and under take any required training to eventually reside in the building as part of a management package within the next 12 months,  if deemed suitable by business owners.

Person: Must be well presented, and have excellent customer service skills.  You will need to be mature-minded and able to think quickly on your feet and make considered decisions within your areas of responsibility.

Experience with Hirum would be highly regarded as well as experience within Tourism and Hospitality

Salary: Person will start as Clerical Grade 1, under the Hospitality Industry Award 2010
